Verizon is the best internet for Nomads for many reasons

There is something beautiful about giving someone a genuine token of appreciation. Today after terrible panic attack I got a text from Verizon saying that my current plan qualifies me for some benefit packages, namely the go90 and NFL apps that include free data streaming for certain content (specified in the app). So I downloaded it, figuring it couldn't hurt. Included in the free streaming are some of my favourite news channels as well as the SuperBowl (Jamie is big on that) and some NBA stuff that I will probably enjoy. Frankly, these free programming offers combined with the LAN capability of my new Jetpack have made me overwhelmingly thrilled with Verizon's new service plan. So I figured, why not let them know?

I got online and started chatting with an agent telling her all the wonderful things I feel about Verizon and how much their services effect my life as a nomadic traveler. After a brief exchange of appreciation between each other I finally told the agent, "Thank you, I hope you have an amazing week". To which she responded, "No, thank you. You have made my day."  Even now, after my conversation with her I am finding more new programs and features that I love, including an "All you can stream" option that lets you use the 4G network for up to 60 minutes for only $2! Useful for camming and livestreaming games or art. Holy shit. And let's not forget their impecible coverage in some of the most remote areas of the US.

I am so filled with love and joy and caring. I hope that this message reaches the other Verizon employees in her department and that it brings a smile to their day. I worked in a call center for a while and I know how hard it can be, and I also know how one positive thing can keep you going for days.

I used to do this sort of thing so often in the past, and re-living this feeling is reminding me that I should continue to do so much more. Thank you Verizon. Thank you Lekita (the agent I spoke with). Thank you my friends and family for loving me. And I'm so happy that a dreary day has turned around so drastically all because of one automated text message (well... also Jamie for being a rockstar).

<3 The world is such a beautiful place.

So if you're on the road and looking for internet options, please consider the Verizon Wireless 12 GB plan using the new Jetpack Mifi 7730L.

If you sign up for Verizon through this referral link, you can help support my nomadic lifestyle by reducing my Verizon bill, as well as getting a $50 visa card yourself. After signing up, here is the direct link to the Mifi 7730L. I couldn't recommend it more highly, especially if you're a gamer.

Verizon didn't ask me to promote this. I'm not one who usually cares about such things, but I genuinely feel passionate about these services and feature and I think they will enable you to do far more than you ever thought possible on the road. Give it a thought. Thank you. *hugs*

Dog Farts and Free Wood

Went to ACE Hardware store to look through their scrap pile. While there they were taking down a display and offered it to us for free! What an awesome deal!

I really love Dogs, and fixing things...

Savannah doesn't really like women much, but she is torn because I give the best ear massages. Ultimately, I think she loves me. She's not so sure yet. XD

Jamie had a drone that needed repairs. I was finally able to fix it (simply installing new chopper blades with better ball bearings). So I took it out to play and as it turns out... I'm a shitty drone flyer. XD Haha! It was fun though. Next time the wind is low I'm gonna try and see how high it will fly. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any good video out of it from this session.

Algadones, Mexico is Beautiful

We took a brief trip into Algadones for some Eye Glasses and a Teeth cleaning. Then we browsed around for a while looking for a Vet for Savannah's teeth. In the process we found a really cool looking pig and met a lot of beautiful people.

Moving to the RTR

A brief update about moving to the RTR at the beginning of January. We had stayed in Ehrenberg for so long I was itching for a big change. The community was a huge refresher.

Catching Up

I finally have internet!! Woohoo! So in a mad rush for immediate satisfaction I will be posting my blog videos from the last 6 weeks that I haven't been able to upload. They'll be spaced a few days apart so you won't get sensory overload, but the timing is a bit disjointed from current.

I'm sure that won't bother anyone though. I try to make them at least moderately interesting if not entertaining. And if you get sick of it, just know, I love you and you're awesome. <3 *HUGGLES*

Here's the first. Enjoy!

Golly Blogging is tough

A lot has happened, and I'll be the first to say I'm not very good at journaling when things are eventful. So let's see if I can keep this short while simultaneously communicating the amazing things I've been through these last few months.

After snagging Big Bertha for an amazing deal I went up to Idaho to visit my mother and drop off my 5 boxes of storage. Mom was amazing of course and when she went to work during the day I went to work improving my engine performance. When I got Bertha she used 13 mpg freeway. Now she uses 15 mpg , but should be getting 17, so there are still a few more things to do.

Nevertheless, everything under the hood is sound. The next big project was installing the solar. I had already finished the counter and pantry, so I broke it in with a run to the food bank and store. Then packed up quickly and made my way south to Arizona for the first ever Enigmatic Nomadic's Van Build where I got my solar installed, had Bertha checked by a brilliant mechanic (thank you Jeff!), and fell into the arms of one charming Jamie Dimon.

I didn't expect to find a new partner so soon, and I am being pulled in a lot of directions. I'm definitely still in the twitterpated stage. l have no expectations for the future right now; I'm just making it up as I go. I was never planning on traveling with another person, so there is a period of adjustment for that. He is an absolute gentleman, though and I am enjoying my time with him.

Where do I go from here? I'm not sure. The world is beautiful and I could just as easily be lost in a city as in a forest and be equally thrilled. Humanity is fascinating. I am only limited by finances at this point. Even so, some creative dumpster diving will allow me to invest in a lot of fun projects that could help improve the world. I worry about humanity.

So in case you forgot, I would like to remind you that I love you. There is so much to love. Goodnight lovelies.
